Dyadic Hex Series

The Dyadic Hex Series began in January 2021 and is ongoing.

This series of pieces began by sending music to friends in order to elicit a response. I asked my friends to provide me with some sort of visual reply. The reply could be a description of what their mind’s eye was seeing, a picture of some sort that they found or made, or really anything that could be used as cover art for a music track. The music I started with was over a year old, mostly made with modular synthesizers. In order to create titles for the pieces I decided to look through old news stories which were reported on days when I made the initial recordings. I then decided to populate my extremely unused bandcamp account with the finished products.
